Sad to say, when you are a fairly small fish in a big fish pond you need to stick to the rules or you will get kicked out of the pond. No place is this more true than when it comes to your adwords account. Google is one great big fish and whatever they say goes, period. If you like to advertise on their Pay Per Click (PPC) network, then you’ve got to be ready to play by their rules or they will ban you and that’ll be one less stream of traffic you will be able to rely on.

Google Adwords can provide you with a ton of very qualified traffic, and it can do it pretty quickly, but it is not free of its downsides. One of the things Google really seeks nowadays is an excellent website. Those days of of mediocre sites is gone. Google expects, and asks for, quality websites for their online users. If you do not deliver you’ll be gone, there will not be a negotiation, you will simply be gone.

Google doesn’t have to explain why you have been blocked either. One day you’ll have a successful campaign and next you’ll be done and so will a big portion of your traffic (which is 1 good reason why you must never depend on just one source of traffic for your site).

In order to avoid this nightmare scenario, it is important you never do anything that would put Google on high alert. Here are a few things to remember:

1. Carefully read and stick to the terms of service  that Google spells out when you sign up for your account. among the most important things to keep in mind is that you cannot direct link your ad to an affiliate offer. You must drive the traffic to your own website in which you can then direct them to your affiliate offer.

That’s probably one of the most common mistakes that people make. They think Google is very big they won’t detect, and they may not, for a while. However, when they do, you’ll be banned. It’s just not worth the risk. Create a fantastic blog.

2. Make sure that the website you send your traffic to has some really quality content. Do not just put up some dumb website or blogsite with only one article on it and expect that that will be okay, it won’t. Again, Google’s top priority is for their customers and, newsflash, that is not you. It is the individuals who search on the internet. If Google does not think that their searchers will get what they are searching for when they visit your website, they will ban you.

Hey, I don’t mean to frighten you, I am just trying to explain that you have to be careful when you’re dealing with ‘The Big G’.  They have their own rules and they expect you to adhere to them. Remember, you are just a visitor in their empire and they expect you to carry your fair share of the weight and stick to their rules. When you set up your adwords account, be sure you read, understand and follow all the rules in order to avoid the nightmare from ‘Big G’.

Social Media Marketing is indeed a very good strategy to improve brand awareness, opportunities and revenue of your business through social media channels and also by performing visual demonstrations such as Video Marketing, which induces awareness regarding the business and its offerings.
