Article marketing is a relatively new way of promoting and marketing your online business through writing and posting articles on article directories and forums, and all sorts of other places on the Internet. When you start an article marketing strategy you certainly have the choice of writing your own articles and creating your own content, purchasing already written articles, or paying a freelancer to write original content for you. If you do want to purchase articles or plr articles then it is important that you consider a few things first.

It is certainly true that any plr article that you purchase can be got extremely cheap, and it would seem like it is very easy to cut and paste as well. However, this is something that you should always make sure you do not do, as there may be hundreds of very similar articles on the Internet and by doing this you may well create duplicate content.

One of the problems with creating this type of duplicate content is simply that it will damage your search engine rankings and anyone who wants to make income online will know that SEO is extremely important and having a good ranking on any webpage is one of the most crucial things that will help you to gain high levels of traffic.

In addition, many article directories where you might want to post the articles that you have purchased will not allow you to do so. Your success will be dependent upon a number of different factors, but often it is better to create original content whether this is by your own hand, or by a freelancer, in order to get better results.

However, if you do want to purchase these articles then you simply need to make sure that you do not fall into any of the traps that others have succumbed to.
