Chances are you struggle (like I do) with finding good keywords. Finding keywords isn’t actually the problem. Most of what I find are just not good enough.

I thought the data from Google’s keyword tool was always bang on. Why wouldn’t I? Big company like that shouldn’t be giving false figures. Well, that’s not always the case.

Any data you get isn’t accurate. But it probably was at the time they put it together. I accidentally discovered the answer to that puzzle.

I targeted a keyword that ’said’ it had about 5000 competing web pages. I felt I could do well with that one. I started banging articles out left right and centre. Hundreds in fact.

It didn’t take long to notice there were now over 9000 competing sites. I was downhearted at this new revelation. Maybe it was going to be far more difficult than I imagined. It turned out that my articles were showing on these sites and ranking for the keyword.

The point I’m trying to get across is that had I looked at the keyword with 9000 competitors, I would have left it alone. As a lot of them were mine (or had my article on) I was competing against my self most of the time. A win win situation if you ask me.

I decided now to try a keyword research service as I couldn’t keep relying on luck. I was looking to get some decent keywords delivered on a daily basis. I had figured that the daily cost against how much work I would save is value for my money.

There were a few to choose from but I went with Travis Sago and his Instacash service. After all, he’s the king of the bum marketers. Bum (article) marketing is something I enjoy as it’s almost free.

If I can get a keyword or two in my in box each day then that saves me valuable time. At least a two hour saving. If I can save two hours work each day that’s something I’ll grab with both hands. If I weigh the cost each day against my two hours work it clearly becomes value for money.

My email inbox is usually full of stuff going on about how outsourcing is the way forward. And what I’m trying here is simply that. Outsourcing my keyword research to someone else.

If you’re interested in how the trial of the Instacash service went then head on over to my web site. I mentioned earlier about getting thousands of articles published for a good keyword. I’ll also tell you how I did that at my site.
